Interesting issues and well written - I would like to have had more background
I really liked this excerpt. I think the author's style really brings you in the story and makes things interesting. However, I wish there was a little bit of background provided to the readers that are not familiar with religious issues... sometimes made me wonder what the protagonist was talking about.
The subject of the book is, however, very compelling and definitely captivating. I enjoyed reading the first 60 pages and was left wanting to read more. This is a book that makes you reflect and makes you a little angry.
