The premise of the book sounded interesting, so I read what is available, and now I'd love to read the rest! It has me wondering how the main characters will resolve their dilemma, as well as what the backstory is behind the plot. I'm not even entirely sure if it takes place now or a distant future - but the themes of patriarchy and choice are definitely universal and timeless. I feel for both of the main characters and are interested to see how they change themselves and the community they live in.
