The first few chapters definitely hooked me! I want to keep reading not because I like what's going on (let's face it, my feminist self is screaming at this right now!) but because I need to know what happens to Miriam and Caleb and I'm desperately hoping they find a way to change things and break free. I really like Miriam as a character so far. Also, that cover is gorgeous!
