The synopsis of the book immediately made me want to read more! When there is a world so much unlike your own, there is something there that entices you to jump in and read it. As I began the excerpt of the book, I was excited to see where the story would go. However, as I continued I found myself skimming the story because the story seemed to drag on at points over his love, her love, meant to be....and so on. I would love to keep reading to see what happens and if the pacing of the story picks up. But at this point...I am having lukewarm feelings for the story.
