This has all the makings of a great dystopian YA novel that also has a compelling and intriguing message behind it. The characters and writing draw you in right from the beginning and there is just enough mystery to keep you guessing without being too confused. The world building, while not entirely unique (and reminiscent of M. Night Shaymalan's "The Village") still has it's own legs to stand on. Looking forward to reading this in the future.
