I think I was suckered in by being told that this is for fans of The Handmaids Tale and Educated. The book also gave me very elight Book of Essie vibes, which was a great book last year. I love books that have a slightly alternate world element, but still hold on to a lot of the humanity we know and love (hate). Can't wait to read this book!
