Wow, the opening of the book sucked me into a world that I can only imagine. The main character Miriam is strong girl growing up in a culture where women’s thoughts are not to be heard. She struggles with keeping her thoughts to herself and living the life expected of her. She thinks she has a gift to see who her future husband will be but her world is flipped when it’s a different boy that calls her name announcing that he will be her husband. After reading the first look of the book I can’t wait for it to come out to devour the rest and find out how Miriam handles the changes in her life.
