I am sure there are many people who would enjoy Mr. North’s book. He moves the story along well supplying details which would increase a person's curiosity and interest as they read. This is just, in my case, not my kind of book. I don't enjoy reading books with a lot of cruelty and violence. Not everything in life is pleasant and some of the books I read certainly reflect this. I just think this one might have more unpleasantness than what I would want to read.
That being said, I think Mr. North has provided two main characters in Paul and the woman police officer that readers would definitely want to read more about. I’m certain these two will cross paths at some time, and I wonder what the outcome will be.
