I already like Detective Amanda-she’s clearly a hardened, broken, badass cop and she is well written. Once again the writing style is incredible-Alex North really knows how to get your heart racing with the creepy scenery and the lead ups to the reveals. Of course, it’s never what you expect. What else could there be around a bloody body that’s MORE disturbing than the body? Well, Alex North will show you. I liked The Whisper Man but I have a feeling this one will be even better.
