I absolutely loved Alex North’s first book and I’m so excited to read his second. I see that the author of the Silent Patient loved this new book, and I completely devoured the Silent Patient. I love North’s style of writing, it will slowly build until you hit the twist(s). I love books with different timelines, such as flashbacks. This also sounds like it involves a copy cat murder and lots of revenge for what happened as kids. North has such a way of describing the surroundings and making you feel like you are right there in the narrative. You really get inside the minds of the characters. Charlie Crabtree and his friends sound fascinating.
