The Shadows has been one of my most anticipated books this year ever since I found out the author of The Whisper Man was publishing a new one! I loved The Whisper Man, so I had high hopes for The Shadows, and it did NOT disappoint!
Much of the plot is around lucid dreaming, which I think is so fascinating - plus how it ties into the mystery was just a cool and unique premise. There were definitely a lot of creepy moments, and I love the alternating perspectives and timelines. It became a little confusing at times, since it doesn't indicate which chapter is whose until you start reading it, but that didn't distract from the story.
Overall, definitely a great book and I highly recommend picking up!
