Alex North does it again. What a great read, keeps you guessing. Creepy dark and suspenseful. The plot hooked me from the start. I felt like i had really been slapped by the twist in this book. I love the descriptions of the woods because that is exactly how it is around my house, I am surrounded by woods. The book reminded me of the Chalkman but i loved that book also. I love how the character comes from a small town. I loved how I didn’t get lost in the going back and forth in the time. Once i started reading this book I could not put it down, I finished it in a day, it was that great!!!! Paul’s character was realistic. I could really picture him being a real person. Charlie reminds me of a kid I went to school with. All the characters are wonderful you feel like they are real and you know them. This book is a great mix of creepy, scary, sinister and murderous. I recommend this book and all of the authors other books.
