After hearing so much about this author, and this book, I really expected more suspense, more thrills. But it didn't really work for me. Maybe those who are rating is so high are new to thrillers. This book really didn't keep me up, waiting to see what would happen more. It was more of a case of wanting to finish the book so I could move on to something else.
There was nothing special with this book for me. It was ok. It also felt really, really, really familiar, like I'd read the same story and plot lines recently, but I can't think of what it is. Maybe not a complete copy & paste like some 'new' books have been, but heavily influenced. I didn't care for North's last book, so I probably should have skipped this.
