Alex North has become one of my favorite thriller writers ever since I read The Whisper Man last year. So, of course I was excited to get my hands on The Shadows as soon as I could.
As an avid reader of the thriller genre, I sometimes feel like I'm running out of stories that I truly do not see coming. Well, The Shadows out did itself. From the very beginning I was trying to figure out what I thought was going to be the ending twist, and I couldn't have been more wrong! Once I got to the climax I actually had to stop myself from starting the book over to see what holes I had missed!
If you're looking for a solid spooky, creepy, genuinely edge of your seat thriller- you HAVE to get your hands on this one because it does not disappoint!
