The Whisper Man was already on my want to read list. I’m excited to see whether Alex North will become another favorite author.
The excerpt of this book definitely grabbed my attention as well. What kept Paul away from his mother and childhood home for twenty-five years? She seemed like a mother who was fiercely protective of her boy. I wonder, how did that relationship deteriorate?
Are the current-day red hands the act of a copy-cat or has the original killer materialized once more? Is any of this connected to the boy that haunts the detective’s dreams? Unfair to cut the story at this juncture...I want to know more!!
