First of all I love the cover, so much mystery with it. Alex North’s writing style flows so well, never too wordy but just enough to paint a perfect picture for the reader. And the story starts right off, I love that in a book. What in the world did Paul run from, and that clearly his mother supported his decision to remove himself from her? I can’t wait to find out because it’s obviously still haunting them both 25 years later. And Amanda? I look forward to getting to know her better.
