I loved how the book pulled me in from the start..the first page. The boy sitting in the car with his mom on his way to a crime scene and police wanting to talk with him. I loved how he described his mother, protecting him, small but strong. It reminded me of myself. I could see myself standing up to 2 police officers if it came to protecting my child.
The writing was so masterfully done it was creepy just like The Whisper Man, and kept me pulled in. I can't wait to read the rest!
