Based on the first impression, The Shadows is a suspenseful novel about a man, Paul Adams, who’s friend was murdered, allegedly, by another friend named Crabtree. Paul is drawn back to his hometown by his sick mother and, despite his best efforts at putting his past behind him, the ghosts of memories, and perhaps actual ghosts await!! Reading this sneak peek made me want to read Alex Norths first book as well!!
