This hooked me right from the beginning. A mysterious opening where we know a young boy died, but no other details. It then jumps into the mind of the detective that is working these cases and we can see the toll it is taking on her. Jump again to Paul and we find out that the red heads appeared when he was 15 and now they are back. What does the demonic book on his mothers bedside table have to do with this and what does she mean 'They are in the house'? Does this have to do with Paul's mother's declining health? I need to read the rest of this book!
