Last year I absolutely devoured his first book The Whisper Man and it was one of my favorite reads last year. I'm happy to see that this book is a different story but using the same town and one of the Dectectives from his first book. Based on those first few chapters this book for one already has me hooked and also seems much scarier. The murders described already were pretty gruesome and I'm so intrigued. The first few chapters were great at setting the scene as well as introducing you to the characters. I cannot wait to read more of this book!
