I'm completely hooked. Between the flashback, the present day murder, and a dying mother with dementia (who I suspect is having more moments of lucidity than we'll be initially led to believe), I need to read more...and soon.

This preview is so engrossing. I was already captivated by the synopsis, but the first few chapters are escalate so quickly and really draw you in. What I enjoy is the immediate presentation of multiple narrators and a dual story line. For thrillers or mysteries in particular, I like depth in a story and you can tell that this will be complicated in a very thought-provoking way. I already have so many questions: what exactly happened 25 years ago? And what is it now that makes young people murder each other and promptly confess? Who are the four figures in the cover (when each murder scenario seems to involve three)? Also what the heck is in the house?

I feel very sure that this will be a great read. I hope to get my hands on this one very soon.
