What I love about the start of the book is that the first murder scene is not fully described, so one can only imagine the horrific scene illuminated by the blaring horn. But then as the second, more recent scene is shared in detail, the reader fills in the blanks to make a connection between the two. I am definitely interested in seeing where the story goes and how the reader is delivered there.
