First off the cover of the book is chilling and mysterious. I am a huge fan of The Whisper Man. The Prologue grabbed me as quickly as the Whisper Man . Just those few words can leave such an impression . Everything will be okay ! I never realized the impact that phrase inflicted. Similar to how monsters are alive and well . This story quickly caught my attention between the detective and her father passing away. I too can relate to the complexities of having a cop as a father ! It’s an interesting club to be in . The first chapter is really intriguing . I love that we get to go on the journey with this new detective and how she will solve this case . A thousand bloody hands , what could go wrong ?
