I recently read Alex North's The Whisper Man and loved it. After reading the excerpt of The Shadows, I'm dying to read the rest! North drew me in right away, making me feel as if I had tumbled into the past and was right there at the crime scene. He switches seamlessly between past and present and multiple points of view and I feel like I got to know his characters well enough in the first 22 pages that I want to continue this journey with them. This book is sure to be a must-read for mystery/thriller fans!
