This book starts off with a boy murdered and another boy being taken into custody. I immediately connected with the mom in the first few chapters. Her response to her son being taken into custody was so real and relateable. I like following the cop in the case and am intrigued by the red hands references. This book seems it may have a supernatural aspect to it. Very intrigued!
