This is my first First Impression and to be honest I wasn’t thrilled at the only option available. From the cover, my first thought was “Horror” which is not a genre that appeals to me. At all.
I was very pleasantly surprised, though, by the sample I read. I do love a good mystery/detective story which this seems like it might be. I am really excited to read more from the perspective of both characters. I can’t wait to find out what happened 25 years ago and how it connects to the present.
