Not very often does a prologue alone hook me - but this one had me practically drooling. I love everything about this storyline. It’s got a creepy childhood murder that has me dying to drive into the Paul’s past to hear more, a determined detective with something to prove, and a current-day parallel that’s begging to be solved. I love how multiple perspectives are crossing over to give you a fuller, more developed outlook of the story. Alex North’s style of writing is exactly what I like to read - clear, descriptive, and enticing. The story so far easily flows and I’m dying for more pages!!
