I loved The Whisper Man, so I’ve been eagerly anticipating The Shadows. The immediately captured my attention with its depiction of a skeletal hand with five dark silhouettes superimposed against it. I love that Detective Amanda Beck who appeared in the previous book will also be playing a role here. Unreliable narrators are always welcome to me as I enjoy being kept guessing, and I’ve already connected to Paul and I can’t wait to see how the story develops through his eyes. This short introduction has further whetted my appetite, and I can’t wait to to read more of The Shadows!
