What a book. It really was not my typical book so I had a harder time reading it BUT let me tell you did it have me laughing. Not much substance but its nice having a easy read once in awhile.

A group of misfits go to camp to band together and win the golden plunger. The trials and tribulations that come with the story is hilarious. At the same time though, the book has a sensitive side that lets you really connect with Do-Over, Tripclops, Uncle Ruckus, Shovel and so many more. (Also, how can you not LOVE those character names!) The trouble these boys get into is nothing short of a good time and reminded me of good ole camp days!

I think anyone who ever went on any kind of retreat, or ever even wanted to, can love vicariously through these boys and their group leaders.

This would also make an excellent movie. I just kept picturing the movie, Heavyweights and could easily expect this to meet that standard if done correctly.

But hey, don't take my word for it, if you have a need to pick up a quick read that doesn't last long but gives you a good laugh, then this would be a good book for you.
