The book was so funny. It is definitely aimed at middle school boys but I still enjoyed it. The humor and the antics of the boys in Troop 99 as they had to survive summer camp. I never got to go to camp so it was fun for me to imagine what that would have been like and wonder if we would have gotten into any similar troubles if i had gone. It makes me wonder if camp really was like this and since none of my friends went to sleep away camp, i have no clue but i like to think it would be.
I found the book to be a quick read for me. It was nice to get caught up in a book like this and just escape real life for a few hours.
I would recommend this to parents who are looking for books for their boys probably the age of middle school (like 11-13 or 14) would enjoy reading. Give them something to enjoy that they can busy themselves with reading for the summer.
I would read another book by the author if he writes more.
