The world of adolescence can be one of troubling, unpleasant times. This book seems to be describing a situation like that. These boys all seem to have a lot of growing up to do and need someone to help them work on their treatment of one another. None of these characters seem likable to me, at least as the book is beginning. I’m curious as to how the relationships might progress and whether any of these young people will move in a positive direction, but not curious enough to continue reading this book.
