The writing style is better than I expected from the blurb (and the god-awful, slapdash cover), but this is for sure not for me. I do read middle grade sometimes, but not throwback-style all-boys rah-rah works that could've been written 30 years ago (with nods to modern video games, of course). Nope, do not need.
