Every experienced reader knows that "You can never judge a book by it's cover" This is yet another title proving that to be true, yet again. I expected this to have a slow start but by the 3rd page I was laughing and already thinking of the people who I know would enjoy it. The writer displayed what a lot of "older women" writers seem to lack when writing a book with teen male protagonist which is an accurate/believable depiction of the typically a-typical boy in puberty. The being below par hygiene, beating up the small friend, their random characteristics and quirks, making each other painfully aware of their flaws and finding new ways to invent the "mama" joke. I much appreciated the use of lingo popular in the gaming community. It's refreshing to read something like this that wasn't written by someone's great Aunt Karen. Def an easy, lounging type of read. I think it would be enjoyed by tweens/teens around a "mature" 12 to 17 for something funny & easy to finish. Perfect "in between book" when you've finished the final book of a series, so you just need something quick to hold you over until you've found your next series.
