SO MUCH BETTER THAN I EXPECTED

I am not going to lie, when I entered the giveaway for this book, I was not expecting much. I just entered because why not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ so imagine my surprise when this actually turned out to be amazing! Historical fiction is not a genre I usually to go for because I have never been a huge fan of history and the the books that belong to this genre tend to bore me. However, I was not bored once while reading this. The writing was so engaging that I was fully immersed in this historical world. I also loved the mythological elements; I found them to be fascinating. Additionally, I liked the presence of knights and royalty because they're cool 😎 the war added tension to the plot that kept me engaged throughout the entire story. The illustrations are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! They really helped me imagine certain scenes and characters. This is the first illustrated book I've read in a long time and I need to go back to those days because I loved the experience of this.
