This is a type of book that I know nothing about, so it was really interesting to read this and be introduced to something completely different from what I have read in the past. I am somewhat familiar with the stories of Camelot and other Medieval literature, but basically just what I remember from being in school and being forced to read such books! Fortunately, I was ready to give this book a chance, and I ended up really enjoying it! There was so much in it...the fairy tale vibe...romance, history, magic...far more than I expected. I appreciated the notes at the end, to help readers understand terms with which they would probably not be familiar. It is clearly a very well researched book, and the writing is excellent! The characters are very well developed. Last but not least, it also has truly beautiful cover art. I recommend giving this book a try!
