Since I no longer fall into the YA category, I wasn't sure if "The Princess of Selgovae and the High King" would be a novel that I would be interested in. Wow, was I wrong! The "sneak peek" was well-written and held my attention from the preface to the end of page 23. I love that the author chose to write a YA novel with a strong female character. The beautiful illustrations definitely added to the content of this novel. I'm looking forward to seeing how Princess Vivien's adventures continue, after escaping the Saxons!
