I couldn’t get into this book, but that’s not terribly surprising as this genre is not for me. The setting of old kingdom and royalty does not appeal to me and I found the writing to be overly pompous. I did, however, enjoy the mix of graphical images and photographs that make up the illustrations and was interested to see that the author took their own photos for the book.
