Lovely illustrations

The sheer amount of illustrations make this a unique find, and the premise/setting is compelling. However, I’m not really drawn in my the prose—it seems a bit overwritten, and while the images are lovely, they’re a bit overwhelming and draw my attention away from the story. They’re what I would I prefer in my nonfiction over fiction.
