Interesting story with beautiful illustrations

The illustrations and pictures are beautiful and allow the reader to see what's being described in the story. The story sounds interesting, the writing style just isn't for me. The writing style makes the book seem like it was written thousands of years ago. It does give more character to the story, like the story was written long ago and we've recently discovered it.
