This synopsis sounds right up my alley. I love a romance story of unlikely allies and where we don’t know if we can 100% trust all the characters involved. I’m wondering if we could potentially have a love triangle but I kind of hope the enemy ruler will stay an enemy. I will definitely check this book out even if the cover doesn’t totally draw me in.
