Hope the fictional princess is not just fiction
My first impression of this novel was largely influenced by the cover and author of the book. I like the subtlety of the mountain (or is it The Mountain) with its reflection being a castle in the water. This will probably be of significance in the story. However the title across the picture is hard to read: maybe a different color or boldness of the font will help it pop out more?
I also noticed the author has many fictional works already, and in this book the protagonist is a female. As I'm reading it, I can't help thinking if the protagonist is an authentic female character or the idea of a strong female character. Since it's historical fiction/fantasy, it can be easy to make things up for a fictional princess but I hope there is still authenticity and some level of realism to her.
