Cool maps and wonderful illustrations
I'll admit I'm not the most familiar with British history, so mentions of specific regions and locations confused me a bit. I anticipate this won't be an issue if I read beyond this first look, just something I'll need to be acclimated to.
A pleasant surprise to me were all the illustrations in this preview! They really helped set the vibe of the world, and even helped me picture some environments in the text. The maps in the beginning are also beautiful!!
