My first thought upon completing the First Look is that this is an EPIC fantasy read! I absolutely LOVE the included maps and illustrations! Not only do they add another dimension to the story, but they also break up the text a bit (which is desirable with such long chapters!). The cover is breathtakingly beautiful and definitely entices you to take a peek! While fantasy isn’t my favorite genre, I will admit the unique verbiage drew me in and I look forward to finding out how this story plays out!
