An amazing follow up to the Blacksmith Queen. This fantasy novel continues the world building while focusing on new characters. In this book we follow Gemma on her journey as she struggles with her religion and all the chaos around them while finding a love interest. All the characters bring an interesting perspective and add something new to the story which makes you easily be invested in their journey.
The writing is fun, witty and the dialogues fresh. They work well within both the context of the world and the characters themselves. This makes the reading flow naturally. Although some element of comedy maybe missing in this compared to the first book, but in my opinion it reflects the differences between the two sisters (who are providing the MC PoV). Overall would highly recommend reading this book and the overall series!!!!
