I love the book's title and cover. The second I read the title and saw the cover the princess knight made me think of Arthurian legends. It reminded me of Signe Pike's The Lost Queen as well.
The centaurs and other creatures also made me think of Narnia.
As soon as I started reading the story and discovered that Gemma was a warrior monk I was hooked. Most monks are male so this was a great thing to read about, gender equality. Gemma is an interesting character and she doesn't take crap from anyone.
