I loved the first book in the series, and one of the reasons why was Gemma, the first heroine's war monk sister. This book promises more of the same quirky humor, over the top battles, and of course centaurs! I mean, who else but Keeley and Gemma would have a full-on family argument in the middle of a battle? I'm excited to see more of the conflict between Beatrix and Keeley, more of the "overly dramatic" Quinn, and more Gemma!
