What to say?
I really enjoyed the writing style. I was nervous reading the fort impression, given that I don't really part take in fantasy, I was worried I wouldn't be able to follow the writing. But my worries were moot, I was sucked in from the first sentence.
I really loved Gemma. Her wittiness alone left me wanting more! And Samuel was a great touch as well.
Is it weird that I like the the horses name? Dagger! I mean come on! That's freaking awesome!
