the book opens with a catching scenario of a strong female lead being thrown into a complicated geopolitical nightmare. The way in which the author has set up a multi faceted family squabble that involves the whole continent is intriguing. I'm interested to see how these very capable warring sisters reach their conclusion and whether the grand wizard was right to manipulate the political landscape as he did.
