I’m not going to lie, this book had me at War Monks. But then I met Brother Gemma and her snarky, smart-aleck personality and I was hooked. She’s smart, fierce, and knows how to hold her own. The family conflict and war dynamics promise a fast-paced story full of political intrigue and lots of kick ass scenes. I need this book.
