If you love a good thriller/horror you may enjoy this one. Once I got into it I couldn't put it down. It's definitely a page-turning. I don't think this is a book for everyone. If you've heard "it's like The Silent Patient" it is NOT. This is not a "subtle" read. There are obviously some similarities in setting but they are absolutely NOT alike.

The book is extremely intriguing. I gave it 4 stars because the build up is amazing and captivating. However, once everything was revealed I felt disappointed. I don't know what I expected but I wasn't thrilled by the outcome. Without spoiling the book, I'll just say I really wanted more for Joe.
